Black Friday and Cyber Monday may be the most official holiday shopping events, but in the age of online buying, shopping apps like RetailMeNot are getting in on the action. The coupon company launched its very own “Cash Back Day,” running on Nov. 4 and Nov. 5., which features over 1,000 deals exclusive to its users.

Here’s a look at some of the hottest cash-back deals consumers can shop on Thursday and Friday.

RetailMeNot declared its first annual Cash Back Day holiday in 2019 — but 2021 is by far its biggest year yet. 

Part of the logic behind unveiling Cash Back Day so early in the holiday shopping season ties to the shipping delays and inventory shortage issues. 

“Cash Back Day serves as the perfect opportunity to save money early on holiday gift purchases, and the chance to avoid shipping delays ahead of gifting season,” McGrath said.

The shopping holiday should delight not only shoppers but also the retailers participating during this most competitive time of year. 

“According to our recent survey, more than one-fourth of consumers said they’d spend more with merchants this season if they offer cash back rebates,” McGrath said. “So it’s clear that shoppers are really strategizing this year, not only around sticker price, but around those little extras that let them boost the value of a purchase.”
